Avrei voluto scrivere queste righe con Tata sdraiata come solito sotto al tavolo della cucina vicino alle mie gambe, ma purtroppo il destino ha voluto che non fosse cosi. Scrivo queste parole alla stesura di questo nuovo sito poche settimane dopo che Lei ci ha lasciati. Tata è stata importante per tutti nella nostra famiglia, ma mi sento di dire che Lei era veramente il MIO cane. Tata è nata in una calda mattina di giugno, e’ stata la prima e ancora ricordo le mie mani tremanti mentre aprivo quel sacchetto viscido e caldo e ammiravo la forza della vita. Ha sempre vissuto con noi, con Tato sono stati i nostri veri cani di casa, hanno accompagnato Julian, nostro figlio, nella crescita. Aveva un carattere forte come suo padre, volitiva, cocciuta e rissosa. Non è stata una femmina facile, non andava d’accordo con tutti, ma era perfetta così: una vera bull terrier. Ci ha abituato molto bene in show, dopo sua mamma che comunque aveva vinto diverse gare nonostante noi fossimo dei veri novellini all’epoca, con Tata abbiamo vinto il titolo Mondiale Giovani a Bratislava nel 2009 praticamente al nostro primo show all’estero. Alle speciali di razza in Italia ed all’estero, più di una volta gli appassionati sapevano bene chi era Lei senza conoscere noi, non avevo bisogno di posizionarla o studiare, Tata sul ring era uno spettacolo, da sola, attirava gli sguardi e l’ammirazione di tanti. E’ stata una madre fantastica e ci ha dato cani fantastici. In casa i primi anni era veramente molto protettiva, al minimo rumore era pronta ad alzarsi per vedere chi c’era, guai a toccare Julian, non stava mai ferma. Con gli anni ha imparato anche a godersi le comodità ed il divano di casa. Con me c’era una intesa speciale, ancora sento i suoi passetti sul pavimento al chiamarla TATATATA!, quante volte ha capito che ero giù e si avvicinava alle mie gambe, spingendomi con la testa perché mi abbassassi a coccolarla… e lei a coccolare me. I suoi sguardi. Chi ha avuto bull terrier e chi ha il SUO bull terrier sa di cosa parlo, è una razza che ti appassiona e ti fa battere il cuore. Ho deciso di dedicarle una parte importante in questo sito che racconta la nostra storia anche se ora non c’è più, perché lei è stata una colonna portante del nostro allevamento, parte della nostra famiglia e perché se lo meritava, per quanto ci ha insegnato, ci ha dato ed ha rappresentato per noi. Ci ha lasciati come era venuta al mondo, tra le mie braccia, con noi, in casa sua, sul suo divano, circondata da chi le voleva bene.

THE IRON BULL’S KILLER INSTINCT: I am writing these words in our new website a few weeks after she left us. Tata has been important to everyone in our family, but I can say that she really was MY dog. Tata was born on a hot June morning, it was the first of the litter and I still remember my trembling hands as I opened that slimy and hot bag and admired the power of life. She always lived with us, with Tato they were our real house dogs, they accompanied Julian, our son, in the growth. She had a strong temperament like her father, strong-willed, stubborn and quarrelsome. She was not an easy female, she didn’t get along with everyone, but she was perfect like this: a real bull terrier. After his mom who had won several shows despite the fact that we were real novices at the time, with Tata we won the Junior World title in Bratislava in 2009 practically at our first show abroad. At the special bull terrier shows in Italy and abroad, more than once the fans knew who she was without knowing us, I didn’t need to position or handling her, Tata in the ring was perfect, alone, attracted the looks and the admiration of many. She was a fantastic mother and gave us fantastic dogs. At home the first few years she was really very protective, at the slightest noise she was ready to get up to see who was there. Over the years she has also learned to enjoy the comforts and the sofa. There was a special understanding with me, I still hear her steps on the floor calling TATATATA !, A lot of times she understood that I was not a good day, approacheing my legs, she pushed me with the head asking to cuddle her. Who has had bull terriers and who has HIS bull terrier knows what I’m talking about, is a breed that you are passionate about and make your heart beat.
