Apollo, detto in famiglia affettuosamente TATO è il nostro cane di casa e passerà tutta la sua vita con noi. Figlio di Aricon The Devil Eyes e nipote di Popeye Guy at Aricon incarna da un lato i pregi dei suoi avi come struttura, profondità del torace, ampiezza del tronco, angoli e osso importante; dall’altro lato ha un carattere fortissimo, volitivo, tenace e testardo come solo alcuni vecchi allevatori ed appassionati possono ricordare. In gioventù ha partecipato alla Mondiale di Parigi ed a speciali di razza in Italia e Francia con ottimi risultati, ma crescendo, per la sua grande avversità verso gli altri maschi, ha concluso velocemente la sua carriera espositiva. Nonostante ciò Apollo è stato per anni il nostro stallone di punta ed è diventato Campione Riproduttore. Da anni in “pensione” vive come qualsiasi altro cane di casa, rubando frutta e verdure, ciabatte ed i panni sporchi dal cesto per far danni. Sui social è conosciuto anche per la sua passione per le mele, che divorerebbe senza fine. Ormai passa la sua esistenza pacificamente tra copertine e divano. E’ un cane di impatto, che lascia il segno, dominante che fa la guardia e soprattutto la difesa attiva. In varie occasioni ce ne ha data prova, recentemente mi ha protetto da un cane di grossa taglia che era scappato nelle nostre campagne e si era avvicinato con brutte intenzioni mentre eravamo in passeggiata. Apollo è un cane speciale ed unico e pensiamo veramente sarà difficile avere in futuro un altro maschio in casa con le sue caratteristiche.

Apollo, aka TATO is our home dog and he will spend his whole life with us. Son of Aricon The Devil Eyes and grandson of Popeye Guy at Aricon embodies on one hand the qualities of his ancestors as structure, depth of the chest, width of the trunk, angles and strong bone; on the other hand it has a very strong, strong-willed, tenacious and stubborn temperament as only some old breeders remember. When he was young he took part at Paris World Championship and in a special show in France with excellent results, but growing up, due to his great adversity towards other males, he quickly ended his exhibition career. Despite this, Apollo has been our top stallion for years and has become a breeding champion. For years in “retirement” he lives like any other home dogs, stealing fruit and vegetables, slippers and dirty clothes from the basket. On social media he is also known for his passion for apples, which he would devour endlessly. In the wrong hands Apollo was surely able to end up in the ring of dog fights, for his strength, his tenacity and his great adversity towards other males. Fortunately, however, it passes its existence peacefully. It is an impressive dog, which leaves its mark, dominant , he acts active defense. Apollo is a special and unique dog and we think it will be really difficult to have another male at home with his characteristics in the future.
